RU BCL men beat 16 over Shibir link

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Feb 27 (UNB): Leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Chhatra League Rajshahi University unit on Tuesday allegedly beat up at least 16 students of the university for their alleged involvement with the politics of Islami Chhatra Shibir, student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami.

Among the sixteen, nine including three in critical conditions were sent to Rajshahi Medical Collage Hospital for treatment, said Sahadat Hossain, officer-in-charge of Motihar Police Station.
