Sabrina denied bail in duel NID case

A Dhaka court turned down on Monday a bail plea of JKG Healthcare Chairman Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury in a case lodged over possessing two National Identity (NID) cards with fake information and sent her back to jail, reports BSS.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Devabrata Biswas passed the order as police produced Sabrina before the court after the end of her two-day remand in the case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain on September 03 placed Sabrina on a two-day remand. Earlier on that day, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yasir Ahsan Chowdhury showed her arrested in the case, allowing a plea of the police.
