Members of security forces raided a house of former lawmaker Haji Mohammad Salim in the capital's Azimpur area on Sunday and confiscated six luxury cars from the building's underground parking. — Focus Bangla Joint security forces conducted a raid at the house of former member of parliament and Awami League (AL) leader Haji Mohammad Salim in the capital's Lalbagh area on Sunday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner Mollik Ahsan Uddin Sami of the police's Lalbagh Division confirmed the matter.
The law enforcers did not disclose the reason of the operation, which was conducted around 11 AM.
Salim is currently in jail in connection with cases related to the July Uprising.
