Speaker to join Bangkok confce on hunger

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will attend an international conference titled 'Accelerating the End of Hunger and Malnutrition' to be held in Thailand in November next as the key speaker, reports UNB.

The Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) will jointly arrange the conference on November 28-30.

IFPRI representative in Bangladesh Akhter Ahmed on Monday met the Speaker at the Jatiya Sangsad office and invited her to join the event.
