Sramik Dal to hold rally at Nayapaltan on May Day

Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal, the labour wing of BNP, will hold a rally in the capital on May 1 to mark the historic May Day, reports UNB.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 02:00 pm in front of BNP's Nayapaltan central office, said BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan while briefing reporters after a joint meeting of Sramik Dal, BNP, and its associate bodies.

The meeting was held at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office, with BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in the chair.

"Sramik Dal has decided to hold a rally in front of BNP's Nayapaltan central office on 1 May in observance of the great May Day," said Nazrul.

He said Sramik Dal has already formed a May Day celebration committee and held various meetings to make the rally a success.

Nazrul, also a renowned Labour leader, said leaders of Sramik Dal, BNP, and its different units participated in the meeting.
