Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubodal will take stern action against the leaders and activists of the organisation if anyone is found involved in terrorist activities or incidents against the interests of the mass people, reports BSS.
The organisation's general secretary, Muhammad Nurul Islam Nayon, made the warning while speaking at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Monday.
"Jatiyatabadi Jubodal wants to make it clear that no person or group will be allowed to engage in unlawful activities under the organisation's name," he said, adding, "A strict policy will be enforced to ensure that the organisation's reputation is not tarnished in the future."
He continued, "We want to send a clear message to everyone, from the president and general secretary of the Jatiyatabadi Jubodal Central Committee to the workers that if any leader or member of the organisation becomes involved in terrorist activities or any event that are anti-national or harmful to the people, it will offer them no mercy."
He went on saying, "Our organisational guardian, Tarique Rahman, has already made this clear in unequivocal terms, and we want to convey this message to all the leaders and workers through the media."
Explaining the organisation's policy decision, the general secretary stated that Jubodal has always upheld disciplined and ideological political practices, and does not tolerate any illegal, immoral, or terrorist activities.
