Suspected neo-JMB man held in Gazipur

The Anti-Terrorism Unit (ATU) of Bangladesh Police in an overnight raid in Great Wall City Bazar area under Basan police station of Gazipur arrested one suspected member of neo-Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (neo-JMB), a banned militant outfit, reports BSS.

"Based on intelligence, an ATU team arrested a neo-JMB operative named Md Abdullah Al Noman Khan from Great Wall City Bazar area at around 04:35 am on Monday," said a media release.

Two mobile phone sets, some extremist booklets including an explosives-making one, were seized from him, said the press release signed by ATU police super (Media and Awareness) Mohammad Aslam Khan.
