Swechchhasebak Dal's partial body formed

BNP on Saturday announced a 149-member partial committee of its voluntary wing Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal, making Mostafizur Rahman its acting president and Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Jewel general secretary, reports UNB.

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir approved the new committee as per the directives of its acting chairman Tarique Rahman, said a party press release.

Golam Sarwar was made No-1 vice president while Yasin Ali organising secretary and Rafiqul Islam office secretary.

On October 27, 2016, the party declared a partial committee of the Swechchhasebak Dal appointing Shafiul Bari Babu its president.

Babu, however, died at a hospital in the capital on July 28 last at the age of 51.
