Tarique acquitted in defamation case in Narail

NARAIL, Dec 31(BSS): A court in Narail has acquitted BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in a defamation case.
Judicial Magistrate Court-2 Judge Mehedi Hasan passed the order on Monday, said Advocate Abdul Haque, Public Prosecutor (PP) of the district Judge Court.
On February 4, 2021, the lower court sentenced Tarique Rahman to two years of imprisonment.
