Tarique Rahman voices deep concern

BNP Acting Secretary General Tarique Rahman expressed deep concern on Tuesday over the killing of an army officer in Cox's Bazar, reports UNB.
He said the miscreants attempting to put the interim government in trouble have revealed their true intentions through this incident.
In a statement, he called for the immediate arrest of the army officer's killers and urged the government to ensure exemplary punishment on them.
In a condolence message signed by Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Tarique Rahman stated the conspirators are lying in wait to exploit the chaos in the country.
He emphasised the need for all segments of society to unite to ensure the establishment of democracy, as well as peace, stability, and the safety of the people.
In his statement, the acting chairman of the BNP strongly condemned and protested against the murder of Mohammad Tanzim Sarwar Nirjon, calling for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators and exemplary punishment.
He also expressed deep condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, praying for the forgiveness of his soul.
