Tarique visits ailing opposition MP during JS session break

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has visited ailing opposition MP Hafez Rabiul Bashar during the parliament session, reports bdnewsw24.com.

The lawmaker, representing the Satkhira-3 constituency, fell ill at 1.40 pm on Wednesday while the house was in session.

Tarique went to the parliament lobby during the Zuhr prayer break and inquired about his physical condition, said Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.

The prime minister directed relevant authorities to ensure the MP receives all necessary medical support for a swift recovery, Rumon added.
