Testimony begins against Salman, Anisul

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 has started recording deposition of a prosecution witness in a case against Salman F Rahman and Anisul Huq for allegedly inciting mass killings and other crimes against humanity by imposing curfew during the July mass uprising.

Imran Hossain from the capital's Mirpur testified as the first prosecution witness in the case on Sunday, reports BSS.

Earlier, on February 10, Chief Prosecutor Muhammad Tajul Islam placed the opening

statement in the case.
