Three UPDF leaders on two-day remand

RANGAMATI, May 30 (UNB): A court on Wednesday put three leaders of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) on a two-day remand over the killing of six people.
The six include Naniarchar upazila parishad chairman Shaktimaan Chakma and UPDF (Ganotantrik) chief Tapan Jyoti Chakma.
Rangamati Senior Judicial Magistrate Md Zahed Ahmed passed the order after police produced them before his court seeking a seven-day remand.
