Travel ban on ex-fisheries minister, NSI DG

A Dhaka Court on Sunday issued a travel ban on former fisheries and livestock minister Md Abdur Rahman, former National Security Intelligence (NSI) director general TM Jobaer and his spouse Fahamina Masud.

The judge of the Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court passed the orders after hearing two separate petitions filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

Mahmud Hossain Jahangir, public prosecutor of the graft watchdog, confirmed the court orders to the FE.

On October 03, ACC deputy director Md Anwarul Haque filed two separate applications with the court seeking a travel ban on them.
