Travel ban on Shamim Osman, Nayeemul, ex-NRBC Bank chairman

A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Narayanganj-4 lawmaker Shamim Osman, his wife Salma Osman, son Imtinan Osman and daughter Labiba Zoha, over graft allegations, report agencies.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Tuesday, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
Meanwhile, a Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on Nayeemul Islam Khan, former press secretary of the ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, his wife Nasima Khan Monty, daughters Labiba Nayeem Khan, Julika Nayeem Khan and Adiva Nayeem Khan, over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Tuesday, allowing a plea of the ACC.
The ACC in its plea said Khan is accused of accumulating huge amount of wealth illegally and covering the source of that ill-gotten money.
Besides, a Dhaka court has imposed a travel embargo on NRB Commercial (NRBC) Bank's former chairman Engineer Farasath Ali and its former director Sarwar Zaman Chowdhury over graft allegations.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea of the anti-graft watchdog.
