Two more testify in graft case against DIG Mizan, Basir

Two prosecution witnesses have testified in a graft case against suspended deputy inspector general (DIG) of police Mizanur Rahman and suspended director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Khandaker Enamul Basir, reports BSS.

Additional superintendant of police Nazem Uddin and Major Nahid testified before the court and were cross-examined by the defence afterwards.

At the end of Wednesday's hearing, Judge Sheikh Nazmul Alam of Dhaka Special Judge Court-4 adjourned the hearing until October 29.

Eight witnesses out of the total 17 have so far testified in the case.

The court on March 18 framed charges against the two accused in the case.
