US Deputy Secy of State to visit Dhaka Oct 14-16

US Deputy Secretary of State Stephen E Biegun will visit Bangladesh on October 14-16, a spokesperson of the State Department said on Friday.

During his visit, Mr Biegun will meet with senior government officials and reaffirm the US-Bangladesh partnership.

The Deputy Secretary's engagements in Bangladesh will focus on advancing the common vision of a free, open, inclusive, peaceful and secure Indo-Pacific region with shared prosperity for all.

It will also focus on US-Bangladesh cooperation on Covid-19 response and recovery efforts; and sustainable economic development, said the spokesperson.
