World Buddhist Mission team meets Speaker

A 14-memebr delegation of World Buddhist Mission met on Monday Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter's office in the city, reports BSS.

The delegation, led by newly-elected honorary chairman of World Buddhist Mission (Japan chapter) Lion Rinku Kumar Barua, apprised the Speaker of their activities being carried out in 35 countries across the world.

The Buddhist leaders sought Speaker's help in implementing their activities in Bangladesh.

Speaker Shirin Sharmin thanked the Buddhist community for continuing their works for the welfare of poor and underprivileged people.
