$109m WB credit for cyclone recovery

Bangladesh will receive US$ 109 million from the World Bank (WB) to implement Emergency 2007 Cyclone Recovery and Restoration Project (ECRRAP). An agreement, to this effect, was signed between the Government of Bangladesh and the WB at the Economic Relations Division (ERD) in the city Sunday. ERD secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan and the WB Country Director in Dhaka Xian Zhu signed the deal. —UNB
