$33.5b export target set for 2015-16

The government has set an export target of $33.5 billion for the current financial year. The target is 7.38 per cent more than the 2014-2015 fiscal. The government had earlier planned to keep the target below than the previous financial year's for the first time in Bangladesh's history, considering that the target could not be achieved in 2014-15 fiscal year due to three months of political unrest.
