$6.5m HK-France joint venture company in Adamjee EPZ soon

A Hong Kong-France joint venture company
named M/S French Fashion Knitting Pvt. Limited will set up a garments accessories manufacturing industry in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone (EPZ), reports BSS.
The 100 percent foreign owned company will invest US$ 6.5 million in setting up its plant and produce garments accessories.
The company will also create employment opportunity for 1000 Bangladesh nationals and five foreigners.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the company in BEPZA Complex in the city Wednesday.
Prasanta Bhushan Barua, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, and Jeremy Grasset, Managing Director of M/s. French Fashion Knitting Pvt. Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Brigadier General Jamil Ahmed Khan, executive chairman of BEPZA, and officials concerned of the BEPZA were present on the occasion.
