1 arrested with 6,000 Yaba in Chandpur

Detectives in a drive arrested a young man along with 6,000 pieces of Yaba tablets on Chanpur-Comilla highway in Ghosherhat area of Chandpur Sadar upazila on Sunday night. The arrestee was identified as Imran Hossain, 28, hailing from Moddhyarampur area of Satkania upazila of Chittagong district. Being tipped off a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police led by sub-inspector Sirajul Islam, intercepted a bus in the area around 8:30pm and arrested Imran. They also recovered 6,000 pieces of Yaba tablets after searching his bag, according to a news agency.
