1 arrested with firearms, ammo

Police arrested a young man in possession of a pistol, two magazines and four rounds of bullet at Alimganj in Poba upazila of Rajshahi district on Friday. The arrested was identified as Raju, 15, son of Raisuddin, a resident of Sadar upazila in Chapainawabganj district. Police said on secret information, a police team intercepted a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Hanif Paribahan’ from Chapainawabanj from on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj Highway and arrested Raju. One pistol, two magazines and four rounds of bullet were recovered from his possession, they said, according to UNB.
