1 arrested with heroin in Manikganj

Detectives arrested an alleged drug peddler in possession of 120 packs of heroin from Bandutia area in Manikganj town on Monday afternoon. The arrested is Habi Hossain, 38, son of Kashem Ali, a resident of the area. Sub-inspector of DB police Shah Alam said being tipped off, the law enforcers went to Bandutia in the guise of buyers to make a deal with Habi and arrested him around 6pm. Later, the detectives recovered 120 packets of heroin searching his body. The arrestee has been involved in drug peddling for a long time, the SI added, according to a news agency.
