1 beaten dead in Madaripur

A man was beaten to death by some miscreants in Madaripur Sadar Upazila on Monday. The victim was identified as Majed Mollah, 32, hailing from Madra village. Witnesses said a gang of miscreants attacked Majed suddenly on a field adjacent to his home around 12.30pm. They beat him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot. Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to the Sadar Hospital for autopsy, according to a news agency.
