1 dies in Dhaka road crash

A pedestrian died in Paltan area in Dhaka when a bus and a truck rammed into each other on Tuesday morning. Paltan Police Station OC Morshed Alam said that the accident happened around 4:00am. The victim has been identified as Enamul Haque, 35. “The police came to know after initial investigations that Haque was neither on board the truck nor the bus. He was a pedestrian,” said OC Alam. He, however, could not confirm whether anyone else was injured in the accident, according to bdnews24.com.
