1 dies in Lakshmipur road crash, another injured

A man was killed and another injured as a bus crushed into them at Bhabaniganj on Lakshmipur-Ramgati Road in Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila on Tuesday. The dead is Khurshid Alam, son of late Bhulu Miah of Tumchar village. Locals said Khurshid along with another man was waiting for a bus at Bhabaniganj. When a Ramgati-bound bus reached the area early in the morning, they tried to stop the bus and get on it. At that time, the bus was moving very fast and the two people fell down from the door of the bus and were crushed under its rear wheels. Khurshid died on the spot and his associate was critically injured, according to a news agency.
