1 dies in Panchagarh road accident

A man was killed when a human hauler hit him on the Dhaka-Panchagarh Highway near Korotoa Petrol Pump in Panchagarh town on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Jamil Hossain, 42, manager of a coach counter and son of Atikur Rahman of Rajnagar area in the district town. Police said the accident took place around 11:30 pm when a human hauler hit Jamil while he was crossing the road, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to Panchagarh Modern Hospital where doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
