1 held with 1,183 Yaba

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested an alleged drug trader in possession of 1,183 pieces of Yaba tablet in Godagari Upazila in Rajshahi district on Monday night. The arrestee was identified as Tutun Sheikh, 32, son of late Shamser Ali of Gourhanga area of Rajshahi city. Being tipped off, a RAB-5 team conducted a drive at Madhumath in Godagari and intercepted a private car. The elite force recovered 1,183 pieces of the contraband tablet after searching the vehicle and arrested Tutun. They also seized the private car. A case was filed under Narcotics Control Act, according to UNB.
