1 held with 1kg hemp in Satkhira

Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 1 kilogram of hemp at Goriadanga village at Satkhira Sadar upazila on Friday. The arrestee was identified as Hafizul Islam, 35, son of Golam Hossain of the village. Abu Zar, sub-inspector of Satkhira DB police said, being tipped-off, a team of DB police conducted a raid at the house of Hafizur and arrested him along with the narcotic substance around 8:00am, accotding to UNB.
