Customs officials arrested a man along with six gold bars, weighing about 6 kg, from Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) International Airport on Sunday. The arrestee was identified as Abdur Razzak, 54. Ayesha Akhter, assistant director of Customs Intelligence at the airport, said customs intelligence officials challenged Razzak for his suspicious movement when he was leaving the customs area through the green channel around 12:00 pm. Searching his body, they recovered the six gold bars worth about Tk 30 million. Razzak arrived from Malaysia by a flight of Malaysian Airlines, according to UNB.
