1 held with 980 bottles Phensidyl

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) personnel arrested an alleged drug trader in possession of 980 bottles of Phensidyl at Chamagram in Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj district early Monday. The arrested is Golap Hossain, 36, son of Abdul Mannan, of the village. Major Kamruzzaman Pavel, commanding officer of Chapainawabganj Rab-5 said being tipped-off, a Rab team raided the house of one Golap and recovered 980 bottles of contraband syrup around 5:30am. Later, they arrested alleged drug trader Golap Hossain, according to a news agency.
