1 held with counterfeit notes

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested a man in possession of 50 fake notes of Tk 1,000 denomination from Kachua at Ashashuni Upazila of Satkhira on Tuesday night. The arrestee was identified as Sahabuddin, 30, son of Atiar Sardar, a resident of Kachua village. Assistant superintendent of police Kazimur Rashid, commanding officer of RAB-6, being tipped off, a RAb-6 team conducted a drive at Kachua and arrested Sahabuddin along with 50 fake notes of Tk 1,000 denomination around 11:30pm. A case was filed, according to UNB.
