1 held with fake notes

A man was arrested along with 78 fake Bangladesh currency notes amounting to Tk 39,000 in Panchagarh Sadar Upazila on Monday night. The arrested was identified as Akkel Ali, son of late Samir Uddin of Satkhamar village in Atwari upazila of Panchagarh district. Being tipped off, a team of police, led by Sub-inspector Firoz, conducted a drive at Tunirhat Bazar and arrested Akkel Ali with counterfeit notes worth 39,000 different denomination. A case was filed, according to UNB.
