1 held with huge fake notes in Rajshahi

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel seized huge fake currency notes and arrested a person at Naodapara under Motiher Police Station in Rajshahi city on Sunday night, RAB sources said. The arrestee was identified as Kamrul Hassan, alias Saddam, 23, son of Golam Mostofa of Naodapara. On a tip-off, a RAB team conducted raid in the area around 9.30pm and arrested him and seized 84 counterfeit notes of Tk 500 denomination from him. RAB officials said he was involved in fake notes trading and cheating people for long. A case was filed in this connection, according to BSS.
