1 held with Indian currency

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested a young man along with Indian currency worth Tk 0.6 million in Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Sunday night. The arrested is Kabir Mia, 25, son of Abul Kalam Azad, of the Upazila. Abu Zafar Sheikh Mohammad Bazlul Haque, commanding officer of Chapainawabganj BGB Battalion-9, said being informed, a BGB team conducted a drive at Gopalpur Ghat around 8:30pm and arrested Kabir along with the Indian currency. A case was filed, according to UNB.
