1 held with Phensidyl in Sirajganj

Police arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 35 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup in Raiganj upazila in Sirajganj district on Saturday afternoon. The arrestee was identified as Abbas Ali, son of late Jendar Ali and a resident of Rambari Islampur village in Shahjadpur upazila. Police said on secret information, they intercepted Abbas while he was going to Dhaka in a motorbike and arrested him. The law enforces recovered 35 bottles of the contraband drug after searching his bike. A case was filed, according to UNB.
