1 killd, 25 injured in Ctg bus-truck collision

A man was killed and 25 other people were injured in head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Hathazari upazila in Chittagong district on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Saifuddin, 22, a truck rider. Sources at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police camp said the port city-bound bus collided with the truck coming from opposite direction in Egaro Mile area around 7:45am, leaving 26 people on both the vehicles injured. Of the injured, critically six, including Saifuddin, were rushed to CMCH where the duty doctor declared Saifuddin dead, according to UNB.
