1 killed, 5 injured in Dinajpur crash

A bicyclist was killed and five other people were injured in separate road accidents in Dinajpur town on Monday. The dead Sirajul Islam, 35, son of Hafijuddin of Pikepara village of Biral upazila of Dinajpur district. Police said a stone-laden truck hit Sirajul’s bicycle while he was going to a bazaar at 9 am, leaving him critically injured. Besides, another mishap occurred when a sand-laden truck hit a human hauler in Eye Hospital Intersection area in the town at 2 pm, leaving five injured including the human hauler driver. All the injured were rushed to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital where Sirajul died at night, according to BSS.
