1 killed as 2 trucks collide in city

A truck driver was killed and 2 other people were injured in road accident Purana Paltan area in Dhaka city on Wednesday. Identity of the deceased could not be known. Mahfujur Rahman, sub-inspector of Shahbagh Police Station, said a sugar-laden truck collided with another truck coming from the opposite direction around 1:00am, instantly killing the driver of one of the 2 trucks and injuring two other people. The injured were rescued and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, according to a news agency.
