1 killed in C\\\'nawabganj road accident

A rickshaw van puller was killed in a road accident at Kolabari village under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Zillar Rahman, 65, son of Kasim Uddin of Shibnagar Chapadasi village under Kansat union of the upazila. Police said, a wheat-laden truck from Sonamasjid land port rammed the rickshaw van on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway killing its puller Zillar Rahman on the spot. The local people seized the truck and handed it over to police but the driver and helper managed to escape, according to BSS.
