1 killed in Jessore bomb attack

A group of miscreants exploded bomb and killed a young man in Jessore town on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as Ujjwal (35), son of Shafiul Mustafa of Munsipara of Jessore Sadar upazila. Confirming the murder and the bomb attack, Jessore Kotowali Model Police Station’s officer-in-charge (OC) Shikdar Akkas Ali said the incident took place around 7:30pm. However, he said the motive of the killing could not be known yet. No arrest was made, he added, according to a news agency.
