1 killed in Rangpur road crash

A van-cart puller was killed in a road accident at Hajirhat point on the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway in the outskirts of Rangpur city on Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred when an unidentified Syedpur-bound vehicle from Rangpur ran over the victim at 5:15pm while he was taking some rest there by the roadside halting his van-cart. He was killed on the spot. Identity of the deceased, aged about 38, could not be known, according to BSS.
