1 killed in Tangail road accident

A man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Dhelduar upazila in Tangail district on Friday night. The identity of the deceased, aged around 40, could not be known immediately. Officer-in-charge of Dhelduar Police Station Chann Miah said the accident occurred when a paddy-laden truck collided head-on with a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Bhurvuria Banthapara area on Tangail-Nagarpur road, leaving the unidentified man dead on the spot, injuring another two. The critically injured were admitted to Tangail General Hospital, according to BSS.
