1 killed in terrorist attack in C\\\'nawabganj

A man, injured in terrorist attack in Chapainawabganj district on Saturday, died at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital early Sunday. The deceased was identified as Rabiul Islam, 27, son of Nurul Islam, a resident Nozu of Mordana under Shibganj municipality in Chapainawabganj. Sub-inspector Nur-e-Alam of Shibganj thana said, as Rabiul Islam was working in a mango orchard in his village, a gang of miscreants swooped on him with sharp weapons, leaving him critically injured at around 1pm on Saturday. Locals rescued him and whisked him off to the local upazila health complex and later he was shifted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to a news agency.
