1 shot dead in Savar

Miscreants shot to death a man at Ghospara in Savar town on Sunday night. The dead is Azad Rashid, alias Abul Kalam Azad, 55, son of Abdur Rashid of Sub-Registry Office area of the municipality. Witnesses said Azad came under attack by a group of armed miscreants while he was returning home from Ghospara around 8:30pm. The criminals fired two bullets at Azad, leaving him injured critically. He was rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead, according to UNB.
