1 train ticket scalper jailed in Brahmanbaria

A mobile in Brahmanbaria court on Saturday sentenced a young man to two months’ jail for selling train tickets in the black market. The convict was identified as Sohel Miah,25, son of Pashchim Mourail area of the district town. Police said the mobile court led by executive magistrate Sabbir Ahmed conducted a drive in the station area and arrested Sohel along with four tickets of a Dhaka-bound train in the afternoon. Later, Sohel was produced before the mobile court, which sentenced him to two months’ imprisonment. Railway station master Mahidur Rahman confirmed the incident, according to a newws agency.
