10 AL MPs submit memo to Khaleda to stop blockade

Thursday, 12 March 2015

A team of 10 ruling party MPs, including four physician lawmakers, submitted on Wednesday a memorandum to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office demanding withdrawal of hartal and blockade, reports UNB.
The delegation, led by former health minister Dr AFM Ruhal Haque, went to Khaleda's Gulshan political office around 1:00 pm but BNP chairperson's press wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan, who was inside the office gate, refused to receive it first, resulting in heated arguments between the ruling party MPs and him.
Dr Md Eunus Ali Sarkar, Dr Habib-e-Millat and Dr Enamur Rahman were among the delegation members.
