10 BNP-Jamaat men remanded over death of Jessore bus helper

BENAPOLE, Jan 12 (UNB): A court in Jessore Sunday placed 10 activists of BNP-Jamaat on a one-day remand each in a case filed in connection with the death of a bus helper, who suffered burn injuries in an arson attack on a bus by some pickets during countrywide transport blockade Wednesday last.
Jessore Senior Judicial Magistrate Abu Ibrahim passed the order Sunday when Kotwali Model Police Station inspector Sheikh Gani Miah produced them before the court seeking a seven-day remand for each.
