10 injured in gas balloon blast at Manik Mia Avenue

At least 10 people suffered burn injuries from a gas balloon explosion at an event organised to mark the first anniversary of 'July Mass Uprising' in Manik Mia Avenue of Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.
The injured were identified as Mazharul Islam, 27, Billal Hossain, 45, Monsur Islam, 38, Md Fahad, 20, Mohammad Sharif, 32, Palash, 21, Mohammad Habibullah, 23, Md Yasin, 25, Mishu, 23, and Nihat, 17, reports UNB.
They were rushed to the emergency department of National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery around 3pm.
